S: From Middle America
One of the world class trumpet players, Doc Severison, played recently in our small middle American town a week ago. He came to honor a musical family that has contributed their music and teaching to our town for 70 years. Because of my appreciation for his lively playing, I was searching for more trumpet pieces to download to my iPod. I happened to find you on the Internet and was moved by your rendition of Il Silenzio. I searched further and found more of your music. You are very talented and I like your trumpet playing very much.
Since they are so talented, and you might possibly hear of them one day, I will mention two other muscians that shared the spotlight with Doc. Both are from Los Angeles and don't normally play together. Nevertheless, they are top musicians. They are Gary Foster, saxophone, and Bill Booth, trombone. Both some of the finest musicians in the world.

I was lucky enough to see Melissa on YouTube a few days ago. I am now trying to find a store near my home east of Toronto, Canada where I may buy some of her music.
I particularly love her hauntingly beautiful rendition of Il Silenzio.

By the way, I was also lucky enough to visit Zandaam in 1970. It was one of my favourite places during my visit to Holland.
