Melissa Venema enriches Classical Spectacular in Berlin
The internationally acclaimed classical music spectacle is enriched by a fascinating artist
After five years the internationally acclaimed classical music performance - Raymond Gubbay's Classical Spectacular - returns to Germany! On 1 January 2012 you can witness a spectacular stage show, stunning laser-and pyro-effects with the masterpieces of classical music, mighty orchestra and soloists-class surprise at the O2 World in Berlin.
Melissa Venema will enrich the Classical Spectacular by her virtuoso trumpet playing and she will surely also play tracks from their forthcoming new album "The Trumpet is My Voice '.

Melissa plays two national anthems
On 21 October 2011 the German three-time world champion Susi Kentikian will defend her flyweight crowns of the WIBF, WBO and WBA. Her challenger is Teerapora Pannimit from Thailand (WBO minimum weight champion). Melissa Venema will perform the two national anthems. The fight will be broadcasted live in German TV (Sport1) and a lot of international TV-stations starting at 20:00 h German time.
Melissa attends 6th HOPE Gala
Six years ago the Saxonia Systems AG in Dresden (Germany) launched the charity event “HOPE Gala” to support the relief project “HOPE Cape Town”. Through the support of numerous guests, sponsors and partners, the “HOPE Gala” has developed into a huge fundraiser. The “HOPE Gala” in Dresden stands for the fight against HIV and AIDS and is engaged in an extraordinary way for children and their families in South Africa. Melissa Venema also will perform at this gala and present two songs.
